If you’re a health care worker, or you know any people in that line of work, then you also know that they are constantly looking for the perfect pair of shoes.

They’re not vain; they’re just on their feet and moving around all day long. And, as you probably know, if your dogs are barking, you’re not going to perform your job to the best of your ability.

Well, shoe giant Nike has designed and released a new sneaker especially for medical workers called the Air Zoom Pulse.

Nike conducted tests at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, to develop the perfect shoe by utilizing direct feedback from health care workers.

What they came up with sounds like a dream come true for anyone who routinely spends up to 12 hours (or more) on their feet, day-in and day-out.

The shoes are easy to slip on and off, they are very easy to clean, and they have comfortable cushioning and traction systems to help relieve the tension on those busy feet.

The Air Zoom Pulse also features an elastic strap for the heel and a laceless upper portion so you can get them on and off in a hurry.

The best part about these new Nikes? All profits will be donated to the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
