One Woman Triumphed Over Her Own Personal “Karen” by Buying Her House

We have our mortal enemies life. They comes in all shapes and sizes, and while some of them never know they have wronged us to that degree (looking at you, Andy Roddick), there are others who are perfectly away of how awful they’re being, but don’t care to change.

Sadly, many of the latter come in the form of our neighbors – people we’re supposed to treat like we want to be treated, but insist on making that really, really hard.

Such was the case for this woman, who bought a place of her paradise dreams only to realize it came fully stocked with a ‘Karen’ and family next door.

Right away, she began to show her ugly, entitled side, wanting to use the entire back yard as if it were her own, even though OP (original poster) owned the majority of it.

Things escalated when Karen threw a birthday party for one of her kids – large, blowup bouncy house included – and directed her guests to use the bathroom in either side of the duplex (she didn’t).

She also had the gall to get pissed when OP told her to get out of the house and also that she could no longer use the backyard. Oopsie.

When the couple decided to build a fence, just so everyone would clearly know whose side of the yard was whose, Karen’s head about exploded. Which really would have ruined her hairdo, I’m sure.

The husband, of course, was just as bad (and I’m already wondering where this boat saga is going…).

I mean honestly, the gall of some people is amazing. Also, the cops were definitely NOT looking forward to another call to that address.

And that’s when the perfect opportunity to rid herself of Karen finally arrived. Of course, she didn’t let it pass her by!

I’d like to think that she’d learned her lesson, but let’s be honest – people like that never do.

I’m tempted to feel badly for the “poor single mother” but honestly, you reap what you sow, right? You keep putting negativity into the world, this is what you get back.

Rich neighbors who don’t give a damn about your attitude – or your lease.

Do you feel sorry for Karen? Do you want to high-five OP?

Let’s talk about it in the comments!
