People’s stupidity never fails to surprise us. And look, we get it, not everyone grew up getting the exact same knowledge, but there are some things that just really make you wonder how a person even made it to adulthood.
One of the best examples of this is how people respond to finding a bay leaf in their food from Chipotle. While yes, technically, you are supposed to remove the bay leaf before serving food, it’s not a random leaf Chipotle found on the ground or some gross piece of weird lettuce.
Do you want to tell her or should I?
Looks like that “leaf” really spoiled his appetite. Are you gonna finish that bro?
She’s close with the basil but not quiiiite:
Good, we’re glad you wanted a leaf with your burrito bowl!
Yes, we are curious about you too.
OH EM GEE this is ridiculous!
Hey, at least she’s not sure “how to feel about it:”
P.S. I would check your brain.
I bet Chipotle’s new tactic is, in fact, scavenging for leaves on the ground!
Although to be fair, Chipotle has had its fair share of gross food trouble in recent years (see also: E. coli). So maybe it is actually fairly normal for people to question this random leaf in their food. Even so, a little quick googling wouldn’t hurt them.
What’s your least favorite spice to use in foods? Mine is oregano!
