Child stars. They burn bright when they first hit the scene, but many fizzle out.

Some go on to do great things, like Danica McKellar from ‘The Wonder Years.’

She wrote four non-fiction books to encourage middle and high school girls to have confidence in their math skills. She also managed to keep working in film and television.
