The Note 10-Year-Old Emma Watson Wrote on the “Harry Potter” Set – with an Actual Quill

It’s always a good time to wax nostalgic about Harry Potter, and thinking about a 10-year-old Emma Watson – just getting into her character as Hermione Granger – writing with an actual quill to make her scene look more believable is pretty darn cute.

And the internet figured this out… because of course it did!

But what did she write?

Something super adorable, of course! Check it out.

Just in case you can’t read it, the note reads…

“My name is Emma Charlotte Watson. I am 10 years old and playing the part as Hermione Granger.

I am in a Transfiguration.

I love this pen (quill).

Professor McGonigall (the cat) (miss peacock) is beautiful.

She is black and white.

I wish I had a cat as a teacher.”

I, too, would have liked to have had a cat as a teacher.

And, by the way, this is when we think she was writing this note.

I also would like to see more memorabilia from the set of Harry Potter because I loved watching the main three and extended cast grow and mature and develop better acting chops as the films progressed.

Notes from Ron? Harry? Luna? What a gift that would be, right?

Oh, man. This is going to end with me reading fan fiction. Might as well not even fight it and just enjoy myself!

Alright, fam, what fond Harry Potter memories do you have of the films and/or the books?
