Instagram has a new cosplay queen, and her name is Angie Griffin. Her sheer confidence is inspiring folks and turning heads everywhere. There’s a pretty clear reason why: Griffin has been noticed for her risque renditions of popular cosplay characters. But hey – I’m not complaining. She looks great! Here are Instagram star Angie Griffin’s top 15 reimagined cosplays.
1. Lara Croft
A recent interview on Griffin’s subreddit revealed that the model has a lot more in store for her fans in the future. When asked what her dream cosplays were, Griffin replied:
“I’d love to cosplay as Jessica Rabbit or Bayonetta.”
I’d say this Lara Croft fit makes for a pretty close third.
2. Violet Parr
Griffin really got into character for this one. She even pulled out some fancy editing skills. That’s dedication.
3. Raven
As a huge Teen Titans fan, this one has to be my favorite. The other cool thing about Griffin is that she crafts tons of her props – like the book seen in this pic – herself. On her process, Griffin says:
“My favorite part is making the props/weapons. I’m not that great at sewing but I actually love working with heat guns, sanders, drills, etc.”
4. Sith Rey
I mean, come on. This is pretty sick.
5. Jessica Rabbit
It looks like dreams do come true!
6. Velma
This one is just a classic, and Griffin does a pretty sweet job.
7. Daenerys Targaryen
Who could forget this iconic meme? I wonder if the PA working on the Game of Thrones set ever got fired.

9. Black Widow
She really might give Scarlett Johansson a run for her money. Griffin herself is a huge comics fan, so it’s no surprise that she pulled out all the stops for this one. When it comes a preference for Marvel or DC, Griffin says:
“Both. Love Marvel movies. Love DC characters. Love Marvel and DC comic books.”
10. Princess Peach

This one might make me cry. I love Metroid.

I’d say that she really hit this one on the head.

Over her cosplay career, Griffin has managed to garner quite a following on Instagram and her Patreon. When asked if she was shocked by the sheer amount of people supporting her, Griffin replied:
“Yes, absolutely blown away, and overwhelmed with gratitude for the support.”
Honestly, I have a huge amount of respect for people who can really throw entire outfits together like this. I can barely motivate myself to get out of my pajamas.
