This Artist Makes Amazing Steampunk Sculptures out of Broken Watches

Simply put, Dan Tanenbaum‘s work is gorgeous. The Toronto-based artist utilizes old watch parts and makes incredible “steampunk“-inspired art pieces.

A lot of Tanenbaum’s creations are miniature motorcycles, but, as you’ll see in these photos, he makes plenty of other one-of-a-kind objects as well.

Take a look at these, you’ll be blown away.

New custom build. Clients usually want me to make a representation of a bike they have, had or always wanted. This client wanted me to reproduce a motorcycle from the cover of a book he loves. If you are interested in a custom guild please contact @alloycuratorial

The 1 foot concrete robot is made by the talented @lovebottherobot who I had the pleasure of meeting a year ago. We both thought it would be cool to see one of his very heavy structures get encrusted with watch parts … thanks for the opportunity (and friendship) @lovebottherobot and @mainaarts
