You probably don’t need me to tell you that there are a few reasons a church’s changing outdoor signs could go viral, and not all of them are good or funny. Lucky for you (us) this isn’t that kind of story.
Because the Clackamas United Church of Christ is getting back to Christianity’s inclusive basics and practicing what they preach – starting with the messages people see when they drive past.
Pastor Adam welcomes parishioners of all races, religions, sexual orientations, et al, and he makes sure that everyone who drives past his doors knows exactly that.
“God loves you relentlessly and eternally because God is Love,” he says.
And these signs?
They’re what many people believe being a Christian is all about.
