It’s that time of year again, when almost everyone vows to be more health-conscious, to hit the gym, and to lose some of that dreaded extra weight.
Well, if you need some inspiration, you should meet Vance Hinds, a man who weighed 475 pounds in November 2017, before he decided he was gonna get in shape.
Hinds said, “Normally, periodically, I start these paths, and I lose weight for a while, exercising on my own. But with my wife, it’s just us two, and it’s easy to talk yourself out of it. You do pretty good for a few weeks and a month, and then you start slacking off, and then you quit. I’ve done that over and over and over again.”
And so he started posting on social media so people would give him feedback and hold him accountable. And mostly he wanted to do it for his wife and three children.
He started exercising and began doing yoga after former professional wrestler Diamond Dallas Page reached out to him.
Hinds mixes up his workouts and now makes healthy food choices.
He also swims and does aerobics with a group of people to keep himself motivated.
As of now, Vance has lost an incredible 198 pounds! Look at him!
