This Talented Decorator Transformed Her Home Into a Disney Oasis

Visiting Disney parks can be such a special experience for families, but what if you could take that Disney magic home with you and experience it every day?

Disney fan Kelsey Hermanson and her family have done just that.

Kelsey and her husband have created their very own Disney house, decorating each room to a particular Disney movie.

The best part about the Hermanson’s home is that much of what you’ll see has actually been thrifted or made by Kelsey and her husband!

1. Welcome to the happiest home on Earth:

Kelsey told King 5 that she found the base of this topiary in her neighbor’s trash bin.

6. Rapunzel’s front entry room

What Kelsey doesn’t thrift, she makes or buys. Sometimes through Etsy, sometimes at the Disney store.

7. Hand-painted lampshades

For instance, Kelsey bought this lamp and then hand-painted the shades herself!

What a truly magical display of talent and creativity!

It’s especially impressive knowing that 75% of what we see has been thrifted/made by Kelsey, not just purchased directly from the Disney store.

It just goes to show, you don’t have to be a Disney princess to live like one.

Do you love anything as much as the Hermansons love Disney? Let us know in the comments.
