It can be really tough when you’re new at your job, the low person on the totem pole, and are wanting to spend some time away with your family over the holidays. You have to put in your dues, etc, and most of us know that going in.
What happens when you’re not new and your job still tells you to not even bother asking for time off at that most wonderful time of the year?
Well, for one thing, the internet comes flying to your defense.
