When you’re watching a good television show or a movie, the kind that really immerses you in its setting and makes you fall in love with its characters, you really want to hang out with them in their world.

And, if you’re someone who enjoys a good beverage with friends and family now and again, there’s a good chance the bars are something you notice – and somewhere you’d like to visit.

These 15 fictional bars definitely seem like place we’d want to hang out – how about you?

15. One-Eyed Jack’s

It’s Twin Peaks, and everyone knows the party is across the border.

14. Mos Eisley Cantina

This bar from Star Wars might be rough and tumble, but we definitely want to be where the action is, right?

13. Gaston’s Tavern

Sure, the bar might not be the main setting in Beauty and the Beast but if we’re going to deal with the rest of that town we’re definitely going to need a drink.

12. Cheers

The famous bar gave the epic television show its name, and if you’re someone who always dreamed of having a neighborhood bar where everybody knows everything about everyone else, well, you’ll want to visit. The good news is you can visit the actual bar in real life!

11. The Snakehole Lounge

Let’s be honest – if I got to hang out with the cast of Parks and Recreation, it wouldn’t matter at all where we hung out. But a drink is always nice.

10. Moe’s Tavern

I’m not saying The Simpsons has lasted all of this time because the characters have a nice place to drink, but it can’t have hurt things, right?

9. The Drunken Clam

If you’re a booze-loving man child, like the dad in Family Guy, this is the place to be.

8. Bamboo Lounge

We might not exactly fit in at the bar from Goodfellas (and that’s probably a good thing), but that doesn’t mean we can’t drink about what it’s like to rub elbows with those characters.

7. The Ink and Paint Club

It might have been awhile since you’ve seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but one look at this place and you’ll be transported straight back to ToonTown.

6. Marion’s Bar

Marion from Raiders is obviously a feminist icon and I would jump at the opportunity to drink with her – even if she would see me safely under the table – any day of the week.

5. Korova Milk Bar

If you had to step into the world of A Clockwork Orange, the bar would be the best option. Not your mama’s milk bar.

4. Paddy’s Pub

The bar from Always Sunny might not be the safest or most predictable bar on the planet, but listen, That’s not going to stop us from pushing through the door.

3. The Titty Twister

You know something shady is definitely going down – it’s From Dusk Til Dawn, after all – but that’s not going to stop us from checking it out.

2. Rick’s Cafe Americain

If you wouldn’t jump at the chance to visit the iconic bar (where there’s definitely not gambling going on in the back) from Casablanca, well…I don’t think we have anything in common.

1. The Gem

Everyone knows this spot from Deadwood is a hole-in-the-wall dive, but that’s exactly why we love it.

I’d forgotten about a few of these but they definitely belong on the list!
