There are some great things about more people working from home, but one of the things that’s decidedly not cool about this world of instant gratification we’ve built ourselves is people expecting responses 24/7.
Some of us take breaks. We take weekends and holidays and vacations, and – gasp – we have lives that don’t revolve around checking our email.
Maybe because people send emails like these.
14. Surely there was a message?
They probably didn’t wait to hear it.
13. And your bosses.
At least they’re trainable.
12. I would not call this person back.
So maybe I would be fired.
11. Rude.
Them, not you.
10. Their boss needs to stop.
Social media is rough.
9. That’s someone you don’t want to work with.
It will only get worse.
8. That’s no good.
I would be soooo passive aggressive.
7. That’s…something.
Entitled, maybe.
6. Just say no.
They can deal with it.
5. That wasn’t yesterday.
Also no.
4. Define “timely.”
Also, change your expectations.
3. I would be disappointed, too.
That my boss didn’t tell her to go p*ss up a rope.
2. Everyone is so egocentric.
It’s not actually NYC time everywhere.
1. The answer is nothing.
You’ve already gone above and beyond.
Oh, man, I would not have been as polite as these people, y’all.
