15 Movie Details You Almost Certainly Missed

Via: reddit.com/r/MovieDetails

It’s really staggering just how much time, money, and labor goes into making a movie.

Every minute that passes on the screen of a Hollywood production had an unfathomable amount going into it – and for each of those that make it to the final cut, there are likely two or three that never did.

Which is why, if you’re willing to look closely enough, you might just find some details you never noticed before, as these intrepid Reddit users did.

15. Best is Show (2000)

Such a funny movie, down to the banal details.

In “Best in Show” (2000), the clocks on the wall in the hotel lobby show the times for Boston, New York and Baltimore, which are all in the same time zone.

14. Baby Driver (2017)

The opening sequence of that thing is amazing.

In Baby Driver (2017) this bank robbery scene was supposed to include the Michael Myers from Halloween (1978) but the studio couldn’t get the rights. Edger Write reaches out to Mike Myers and asked if they could use his likeness for the masks. He thought it would be funny and said yes.

Watching Deadpool 2 (2018) and noticed a certain Supreme Court justice’s headshot in the squad interview scene. None other than Ruth Bader Ginsburg in consideration for a spot on X-Force

8. The Lego Movie (2014)

Who would have thought this movie would turn out so good?

In the Lego Movie (2014), Vitruvius says “All right, we gotta write all that down ’cause I’m not gonna remember any of it, but here we go.” This was actually an outtake of Morgan Freeman getting frustrated at his lines being changed. The directors added it in as a joke.

These Hades scenes really freaked me out as a kid, I gotta tell ya.
