People in general, online or off, love a good proposal story. Which almost makes the whole enterprise of planning a proposal more intimidating. After all, what if trying to tell the story for years afterward is disappointing? What if it’s too banal? Too pedestrian and predictable, not flashy enough? What then? Are we supposed to take some kind of comfort merely in the fact that we’re now in love and living a fulfilling life together?
Psh. Fat chance.
