I don’t know about you, but when I find something I love, I make sure to buy at least one backup. If it’s clothing that really knocks it out of the park, I probably need at least three of a thing in all different colors, just in case.
These 17 people have some other ideas of products that they love, and they’re sharing the things they’re about to grab a couple more of in the responses below.
17. I always accept socks.
Let this be a reminder to everyone that socks and undies is a totally acceptable Christmas present.
Edit: well galdern thanks for the love everyone hope everyone socks an undies stay dry this winter!
16. I’ll take their word for it.
I got into woodworking so I will say clamps!
You can never have enough clamps.
I’m also over here with a divorce inducing number of hand planes, but it’s not enough.
15. It’s the chicken and the egg.
Money.
I have three kids and no money. Why can’t I have no kids and three money?
14. They don’t pile up.
Bowls.
Gotta rewash the same two when I eat my Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Problem is I have a dishwasher and prefer to use that rather than waste water and time hand washing. With only two bowls, the dishwasher doesn’t fill up so I don’t want to run it.
I’m trapped in this cycle until I either buy more bowls or give in to hand washing
13. The space!
Tools and space for a workshop.
12. I think this is true.
Skills. I do well but I’d like more skills and knowledge.
If the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
11. Sad face.
Happiness.
I’m at like, zero happiness right now so any happiness at all would be an improvement.
I actually can’t even remember the last time I was happy.
Late 2019 was when I was last happy for more than just a couple hours. Feb 2020 my dog passed away. My best friend in the whole universe. Right before I moved back home with my parents to wait out COVID. Luckily my parents called me the night they decided he had to go. He was ready to go, and I did get to spend some quality time with him before he went as I stayed by my parents regularly. But damn did his health deteriorate fast in his last year. By the time we put him down I dont think he even recognized anything around him. I still cry when I think about him. I’m glad I was holding him as he went out. I would have never forgiven myself or my parents had they put him down without me there. Since he left, my life has been in a downward spiral.
My last laugh was Aug 2020. My girlfriend of 5 years and I were doing a long distance relationship. I last saw her when we took her dog to a small lake. Then in September I learned she had been cheating on me for over 4 years, and had been lying about nearly everything about herself since day one. That paired with isolation, career issues, missing my best friend, and a shoulder injury keeping me out of the gym (lifelong lifter) made 2020-2021 the worst 2 years of my life.
Based off the trend I’ve been following, I am not looking forward to 2022. There is still a lot lower I can go, and I’m scared to see what happens, more than I’m happy to see how I can change.
10. Said every parent ever.
Patience.
9. The grind.
Free time.
I hate working 5x 8hr days a week for this reason.
I want to go back to 4×10’s so bad. Anyone who’s never done it just doesn’t understand when I try to explain it to them. Yes, you’re at work for the same number of hours, but you have SO MUCH MORE TIME that’s your own.
8. So say we all.
Genuine friends.
7. I feel seen.
Books.
No, mother, I do NOT have too many books, I just have not enough bookshelves to hold them all. >:-|
6. In the right size, please.
Tupperware lids.
That’s one of my biggest pet peeves. Do yourself a favor, throw the lot out and just buy a new, uniform set.
It’s not that expensive and you’ll save so much in space and hassle.
5. It will just run out of ink when you need it most.
Printers. My thirteen-year-old HP CP2025dn, which can no longer print more than one sheet at a time, and for which HP toner is all but impossible to find, is overdue for a replacement.
But: have you tried shopping for a decent printer, these days? That’s all but impossible, too.
4. Check under the beds.
Spoons, I think I might have less than the number of roommates I have lol.
Half of them are probably up in Tom’s room.
3. Did they get lost?
Clothes, after moving house twice I just ended up short.
2. They cost so much money!
Bras.
There’s the one good one that gets used ALL. THE. TIME. and I can never remember where I bought it so it stays around until it slowly disintegrates.
1. And not enough time to knit.
As a knitter/crocheter, I can say that i simultaneously own enough yarn and not enough yarn.
I’ve got some ideas for new things to try now, that’s for sure Just what I needed!
What’s something you know you need more of at home or at work? Make sure and drop it in the comments!
