If you are a person of a certain age, or really anyone who professes to love high fantasy literature or film or television (or any type of story), there’s almost a zero chance that you aren’t familiar with The Lord of the Rings.
The trilogy, written by J.R.R. Tolkien, is considered a classic, and essential canon, really, for anyone’s fantasy education.

It’s not always love.
11. This meme isn’t going anywhere.
Just like second breakfast.

But people are way too lazy for it to catch on.

But it would be an impossible task.

You’re going to get the pointy end of an arrow.

I guess I’m terrible.
6. I mean, she tried.
I feel her pain.

Another classic that’s essential fantasy viewing.

I can never unsee it.
1. I’m here for this type of masculinity.
And not only because it means I get the house to myself for a few days.
I’m sort of a casual fan, which is odd, but even I loved all of these.
Are you going to share some of these with your nerd friends? Tell us in the comments which ones were your favorites!
