This Illinois Town Proves That Bigger IS Better…by Showing off the World’s Largest Collection of the World’s Largest Objects

The small town of Casey, IL, is home to the world’s largest collection of the world’s largest objects. Say that three times fast!

In their downtown you can scope out the odd collection, which includes a giant golf tee, wind chime, knitting needles, a crochet hook, a mailbox, a birdcage, and a rocking chair.

The chimes are 55 feet tall, and they actually work. The world’s largest rocking chair is 56 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs over 46,000 pounds.

The mailbox – with a door that opens and closes using a cable winch – stands across the street from a huge, swinging birdcage.

The world’s largest golf tee stretches 30 feet high, and it takes 60 gallons of glue and 120 pounds of screws to hold it together.

Their newest item is a 60 foot, 1900 pound pitchfork that in mid-application to the Guinness Book of World Records.

I think we all know it’s just a matter of time.
