Anyone and everyone who uses social media has surely started to recognize certain trends when it comes to selfies and other photographs – the feet in the sand, the runner and her Fitbit, the mom and her messy bun + cup of coffee – and, sure, some of these trends are more likely to appear in the timelines of your female friends than your male.
Trolling can be hilarious and even poignant when done correctly, and this series of images from road trip buddies Stevey and Doug, meant to mimic a “stereotypical girls day out” is absolutely classic.

They claim the joke began as they drove past a sunflower field and kind of blossomed from there.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to have another girls day out very soon. Girls days out are awesome, after all.
They do need some work on their outfits, though.
