I’ve heard this one before, and from my own dad. He swore up and down that he didn’t want a cat, and he got pretty annoyed when us kids started feeding a stray that eventually became part of the family.
And then what did he do? Fell in love with it and went and got another one when the first cat went off to Kitty Heaven.
These guys all claimed they didn’t want cats…let’s see where they stand now on that issue.

My husband “doesn’t like cats” and refused to let me get a kitty for the longest time. He now gives the kitten a dab of cream cheese every morning and naps with him on the couch… but maintains that he doesn’t like the little dude.
