Amarildo Silva has two great things going for him: he’s a talented artist AND he has a heart of gold.
The young Brazilian was looking for ways to make a little extra money a couple years ago when he decided to start making use of all the tires people were leaving on the streets. Silva began sculpting them into nice, functional pieces of art, and, since he was up-cycling materials, his works are beneficial to the environment.

Silva noticed how many stray dogs sleep in discarded tires on the streets of Brazil, so he decided that his creations should help them feel more comfortable.
