There are still men in this country who don’t understand why women can’t just nice and friendly when they’re spoken to on the street. Is it so hard to smile? Is it so hard to make pleasantries?
No. It is not hard, but this Twitter thread explains why many of us just don’t do it. Because we don’t know, so it’s not worth it. And at some point, the result could be more than annoying or scary – it could be dangerous.
