Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays that kind of pops up out of nowhere for many of us (probably because it’s got nothing to do with the kiddos), so we can be left scrambling to find a romantic way to show our significant other how special they are to us.
You don’t want to wait until the last minute to book your date at Waffle House, though – they’re taking reservations for the romance holiday, and if history is any indication, their slightly-sticky booths are going to fill up fast.
After all, what says sticky-sweet love like some pancakes or waffles or French toast – and of course, bacon.

According to Southern Living, Waffle House is dressing up for the occasion, too – their tables will be adorned with clothes and candles, special items will be on the menu, and love is sure to be as prevalent as the bacon grease in the air.
The chain started the tradition back in 2008 at a Georgia location, but has since spread to franchises around the country – this year, almost 200 restaurants in 21 states are participating in the promotion.
