Flying is not the luxury travel experience it once was, but if you have the cash for a seat (or suite) in first class, you will be inside a whole new world at 30,000 feet.

Not only is your personal airplane space a whole lot bigger, you get a flight attendant solely dedicated to providing service for the first class cabin. You also get a pre-flight drink with additional service throughout the flight, robust snacking, and comfy pillows and blankies.

And don’t let us forget the food. With high-design serviceware and authentic cuisine, here’s what eating in first class looks like.

American Airlines Flight 102 from Honolulu to Dallas-Fort Worth. . Entree: Ginger Garlic Glazed Salmon with kimchi flavored pork rice, sugar snap peas, grilled onion and sourdough roll. . Salad: Hawaiian Cobb with mango, edamame, radish and topped with roasted pineapple vinaigrette. . Appetizer: Spicy Ahi Tuna Poke with pickled ginger, seaweed salad. . Dessert: Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream with strawberry topping, macadamia nuts and whipped cream. . Breakfast: Fresh fruit, scone and yogurt. . For the seven hour flight, American Airlines utilizes a first class menu of local flavors inspired by Hawaii Chef Sam Choy that is quite enjoyable and filling for the long flying time. The ahi poke uses a cooked tuna rather than fresh raw cubes.
