You might have noticed that it’s been exceptionally cold across much of the north, middle, east, and even south parts of North America over the past couple of weeks. Revelers in Times Square experienced the coldest NYE on record, and the freezing cold has even turned the churning falls in upstate New York and Southeast Canada into a scene that looks straight out of the dark days of Narnia.
