VIDEO: Conan's Pokémon GO Parody App

To coincide with the talk show host’s week-long stint at Harlem’s Apollo Theater, the Conan show released an app called “Catch Coco” on iOS and Android, where you can search NYC for AR (“augmented reality”) versions of Conan eating 15 different sandwiches.

Users of the app in NYC will have to visit 15 Big Apple landmarks to find, catch, and collect 15 Conans eating 15 different sandwiches.

Landmarks in the NYC version of the game include Yankee Stadium, the Apollo Theater, the Empire State Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

But, you don’t have to go to New York to play the game.

You can play from home with “Couch Mode,” which will spawn a new Conan for you to catch every 24 hours, and that will also enter you in a sweepstakes.

Of course, this means that you will need at least 15 days to complete your Conan-dex, and that means that even though Conan will leave NYC, the app will remain functional.

So, if you’ve already caught ’em all, and you’re looking for a new challenge while you wait for Gen 2, or if you just like Conan and/or sandwiches, grab an Eisenhower mug or a microphone and go catch some Cocos.
